Names and details have been changed to protect privacy, but the emotional journeys are real and representative of the work.

From Confusion to Clarity – “I didn’t know what was real anymore”

Client: Group Programme

When she first joined the group, Laura described feeling constantly confused in her relationship. One day everything felt fine and the next she was questioning whether she was being too sensitive, over-reacting or imagining problems.

She joined the group unsure if her situation “was bad enough” to be there.

Over the six weeks, she listened to other women describe similar patterns and something began to shift for her. She started to realise she wasn’t alone or “over-reacting.”

By the end of the programme, she was no longer relying on her partner’s behaviour to dictate her emotional landscape. Instead, she began trusting her own emotional responses and making decisions from a place of greater clarity rather than confusion.

She later shared that the biggest change wasn’t what she did in her relationship, but how she saw it.

From Overthinking to Self-Trust – “I stopped asking everyone else what they thought"

Client: 1:1 Sessions

Becky came to 1:1 support feeling anxious and overwhelmed, constantly second-guessing herself. Every decision in her relationship felt like a mental loop of pros and cons and she found herself asking friends and family for reassurance almost daily.

In early sessions, it became clear that she had lost trust in her own judgement after repeated experiences of emotional inconsistency in relationships – both with her husband and subsequent relationships. Through structured 1:1 sessions, she began to slow down her thinking and reconnect with what she actually felt, rather than what she thought she “should” feel.

By the end of six sessions, she described a noticeable shift: in a new relationship, she confidently advocated for her own needs and no longer needed external validation to make decisions. She felt grounded, calmer and able to trust her own perspective again. As a mum of two young daughters, she felt empowered to show them what a healthy relationship looks like.

From Repeating Patterns to Understanding Them – “I finally saw the pattern clearly”

Client: Group Programme → Transition to 1:1

Scarlet had been in multiple relationships that followed a similar pattern: intensity at the start, followed by emotional distance, confusion and self-doubt. When she joined the group programme, instead of getting advice on what to do, she gained an understanding in the pattern these experiences revealed. Hearing other women share similar experiences helped her recognise that her pattern wasn’t random. It had a structure and more importantly, she saw it clearly.

She chose to continue into 1:1 sessions to go deeper. In that space, she began to explore, not just the relationships themselves, but her responses within them, especially her tendency to over-give and ignore early warning signs.

Her biggest shift was moving from self-blame to awareness. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” she began asking, “What is this pattern showing me?” She now knows the early signs to look out for so her next relationship will be one where she confidently creates a new pattern.

From Walking on Eggshells to Boundaries – “I didn’t realise how small I had become”

Client: 1:1 Sessions

Steph described her relationship as “not terrible, just exhausting.”

She was constantly managing moods, avoiding conflict and carefully choosing words so as not to “spark anything off.”

When she started 1:1 sessions, she didn’t initially label her experience as unhealthy. She simply knew she felt tired, emotionally stretched and confused.

Over time, she began to recognise how much she had been adapting herself just to keep the peace at home.

Through gentle exploration, she started reconnecting with her own needs and recognising where she had been shrinking herself in the relationship.

By the end of the process, she was able to express boundaries without guilt and began making decisions based on her wellbeing rather than fear of conflict.

From Breakup to Rebuilding – “I didn’t recognise myself anymore”

Client: 1:1 Sessions

After a long-term relationship ended, Heather felt completely lost. After 8 years, she wasn’t just grieving the relationship—she was still questioning who she was outside of it and struggling to ‘move on’.

She described feeling like she had “disappeared into the relationship” over time and didn’t know who she was anymore. She felt like life had passed her by and that she had nothing left to look forward to.

The focus of our work was not rushing her into dating or decisions but helping her reconnect with herself first.

She began rebuilding her identity slowly—rediscovering preferences, friendships, routines and parts of herself she had put aside.

By the end of the sessions, she described feeling more grounded and more certain of who she was. For the first time in years, she felt she could enjoy just being herself and prioritising her own interests. She wasn’t sure if she wanted another relationship because she was investing time in the new one she’d found with herself.

Whether through the group programme or 1:1 sessions, the goal is not to give you answers, but to help you reconnect with your own.

Every woman’s journey is different, but the shift is often the same: from confusion to clarity, from self-doubt to self-trust and from overthinking to confident decision-making.
